“The mission of The Intrinsics Group is to help the business and entrepreneur community in the United States, while also establishing a sustainable community in the local community where I grew up.”
Behzod Avazov, co-founder of Intrinsics Group
Behzod Avazov is the co-owner of The Intrinsics Group. For him, the firm is the culmination of a lifelong dream that began many years in his hometown of Ghulakandoz, located in the Central Asian country of Tajikistan.
At age 19 Behzod moved to the United States. Like many of his fellow countrymen, he re-located in search of greater educational and work opportunities. He found them in the state of Pennsylvania, where he was employed in a prosperous company, and worked his way up to Senior Accountant.
While working, Behzod earned his Associate in Business Administration, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Elizabethtown College, a private U.S. educational institution founded in 1899.
Then, he was employed as a senior accountant at a certified public accounting (CPA) firm in Pennsylvania that offers accounting and tax services to entrepreneurs and businesses. At the firm, he managed team members as well as providing personalized, advanced accounting and tax services to clients.
After a dozen years living, studying and working in the United States, Behzod, along with his wife Muattar Ayubova—who is also from Ghulakandoz and worked alongside Behzod at the CPA firm—decided to return to their hometown with their children.
In 2024, they are excited to announce the opening of Intrinsics Group, which will provide accounting services to U.S. clients, as well as provide a local hub of employment to skilled workers in their hometown of Ghulakandoz, Tajikistan. The Intrinsics Group is supported by an existing client base, as well as significant resources from business partners in the United States.
